Midfielder hoping for a clean slate under Buckle

WITH the play-offs still massively in the balance Town midfielder Andre Boucaud is hoping the appointment of new manager Paul Buckle will give his side the impetus to seek a top five finish, writes Mark Wood.

The former York midfielder was left out of Buckle’s first squad for the 4-2 win over Hayes & Yeading, but forced his way back in at the weekend, although was on the sidelines once more on Tuesday night.

He said: “With a new manager coming in it’s always a clean slate for everyone.

“You’ve got to do your best and hopefully he will see that and pick you.”
