The 18-year-old started for the hosts at Mourneview Park in Lurgan as the scores were goalless at the break.

In the second period, Italy went ahead on 59 minutes through Empoli defender Daniele Rugani, before McGeehan was replaced by Crewe Alexandra’s Liam Nolan just after the hour mark.
