Striker Oliver Hughes was on target in his second game for Town, while Jake Hall played once more.

Former Millwall midfielder Jack Sammoutis, a one-time Cyprus Youth international managed an hour, before being replaced by another trialist Amor Cibwabbna.

On Hughes, first team coach Hakan Hayrettin, said: “He’s come from a very, very low league and is one that the manager’s found.

“We’ll be unearthing these players from time to time and pushing them.”

On Hall, who has now played four times, Hayrettin continued: “I’ll report back and say the same thing about him as well.”
