Luton may look to recall Stevenson as other loans look set to be extended
Luton Town look set to recall Jim Stevenson from his loan at Dartford after seeing their midfield massively diminished in the last week, writes Mark Wood.

With Jonathan Smith recovering from a double leg break and loan star Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu returning to West Ham United, plus the likes of Andy Parry and Solomon Taiwo still recovering from hernia operations, Still admitted Stevenson may be in line to return with his deal almost up.
He said: “Jim Stevenson’s the one that because of the midfield situation we may have to call back.”
However, Luton’s other loan stars look set to remain at their clubs, unless some permanent moves come along.
Still added: “I think that Alfreton want to extend (Lathaniel) Rowe-Turner. We think that Woking want to extend (Scott) Rendell, but I’m not 100 per cent sure that Rendell wants to extend, I think he’s looking for a permanent deal somewhere.

Ampthill hit six to get the season off and running in style
“JJ (O’Donnell at Hyde), we’re going to suck it and see, because if he’s playing there and he’s not involved here at the moment it’s probably a good place to carry on playing.
“Because after the first month you get an immediate call-back. Dave Martin (also at Dartford) was extended and if we need to call him back we will.”
