Luton life’s been a blur for modest Gray

ASTOUNDED striker Andre Gray has admitted that life at Kenilworth Road has been a bit of a blur since signing from Blue Square Bet North side Hinckley United in March, writes Mark Wood.

Gray, who netted in his first four Hatters games to set a new club record, scored his fifth in Town’s 2-0 victory at champions Fleetwood on Saturday.

The modest striker didn’t believe he would have such an impact, saying: “No not really, not at all, I didn’t expect to score to be honest. It’s a big step and every time I score is a big bonus to get us to where we are now.

“Unfortunately the first few goals didn’t come to anything so we drew the first one and then lost.

“I’m glad now I’m scoring and we are winning the games so things have got a lot better.”
