Luton in dark after Osano reneges on new deal

A DONE deal for Curtis Osano was never completed as League Two AFC Wimbledon lured the burgeoning right-back away last week, writes Mark Wood.

Managing director Gary Sweet revealed that a new contract had been agreed only for Osano, whose agent is Luton legend Kevin Nicholls, to be tempted elsewhere.

He said: “We had a deal arranged. Curtis promised he would come in and sign the paperwork over the weekend and next thing we know he has signed for Wimbledon.

“The offer we made him was fair. But clearly he decided he wanted League football.”
