Loyal Luton chairman reveals stadium plans are progressing

Loyal Luton Supporters Club chairman Mark Bradbury has revealed Luton Town chairman Gary Sweet is now devoting 75 per cent of his time to working on Town’s stadium and training ground future, writes Mark Wood.

In his online New Year’s Day message, he wrote: “Any relocation or development will take a good number of years yet to come to fruition, however Gary Sweet is spending up to 75 per cent of his time now working on the stadium and training facility issues.

“That in itself is encouraging for two reasons, firstly the business side of the football club is now running in a manner to enable him to have freed up this time and secondly of course to move the stadium on.”
