LOAN WATCH: O’Donnell gets the better of Taiwo

JJ O’Donnell came out on top of his head to head with Town team-mate Solomon Taiwo as Gateshead were 2-1 winners at Aldershot Town in the Skrill Premier on Tuesday night, writes Mike Simmonds.

Taiwo had set up the Shots opener, crossing for Josh Scott to head home, but the Heed levelled through veteran striker Jack Lester.

The Tynesiders won it late on, but although O’Donnell was originally credited with the goal, it was later confirmed that James Marwood had scored.

Meanwhile, defender Jerome Jibodu played 90 minutes as Dunstable Town won 3-0 at Daventry Town in their Calor Southern League Division One Central clash.
