Midfielder Alex Lawless will definitely miss Saturday’s trip to Welling as he is yet to recover from his hamstring injury suffered against Braintree.

The Welshman was forced off after 14 minutes and speaking to the press today, manager John Still said: “He won’t be fit Saturday or Monday (against Forest Green). He might be fit for the last one.

“Andre (Gray’s) fit, we’re waiting on Paul Benson who’s played with a bit of an injury, so we’ll wait on that, I’m not sure about that.

“We haven’t got many injuries. Over the weekend, we’ll probably not pick the same team for both games.

“But if I was a player playing pretty regularly, I’d want to play here on Monday.”

On just how he was considering rotating his squad, Still continued: “I’m not sure yet, I’m not 100 per cent sure.

“We will do a little bit of that, but I’ll think of that tonight and look at it tomorrow in training.”

One player who might be forced to wait on his league debut is reserve keeper Elliot Justham though as when asked if he might figure, Still smiled: “Someone (Mark Tyler) wants to play every game, because that’s a feat isn’t it to play every league game.

“So I’m not sure I’m going to do that.”
