Lawless so pleased to have put his ‘mega-frustrating’ start to the season behind him
Last season’s player of the season Alex Lawless was relieved to have finally ended his ‘mega frustrating’ injury exile as a second half sub in Luton’s 2-0 defeat at Wrexham on Friday night, writes Mark Wood.
A series of minor niggles meant that he wasn’t able to feature even once during pre-season, although he was able to train for most of it.
He said: “I think my last competitive 90 minutes was Southport away last game of last season.”
