Lawless relishing full-back role
Converted full-back Alex Lawless is relishing his switch from midfield to right-back, writes Mark Wood.
Playing there is nothing new to the 27-year-old who has filled that role numerous times during his career, but he is loving his licence to get forward alongside Luton’s narrow midfield.
Keeper Ryan Young pulled off a fine save to deny him on one foray forward during Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to AFC Telford United, but he hopes his overlapping will pay dividends in the future.
