Lawless impressed with Hatters’ transfer activity

Luton’s player of the year, who recently agreed a new two year deal himself, has seen Shaun Whalley, Andrew Parry, Elliot Justham, Mark Cullen, James Stevenson and Danny Fitzsimons arrive at Kenilworth Road in the last month.

He said: “You can see with the manager in a short period of time, I don’t think he makes quick, rash decisions. Bringing in hungry players is certainly a big thing and there are lots of those who have come in.

“To get promoted you certainly need a full squad of players like that to go with our ability as well.”
