Lawless, who was the Town’s supporters player of the year last campaign, has been sidelined with an Achilles injury so far, but speaking at the new kit launch last night, confirmed he was back in full training.
He said: “I’ve had a slight Achilles injury, nothing serious, it was just trying to get it right as I didn’t want it to be something that was off and on.
“It was just managing it and there is a lot of heavy work during pre-season so we didn’t want to make something worse than it needs to be.
“The staff have been great and helped it to get a lot better sooner.

Hatters desperate to right last season's wrongs against Blues
“I’ve been training now quite heavily for quite a bit and am back in with the lads football-wise quite recently.
“Hopefully I’ll get some playing time tomorrow, fingers crossed. I’m not the manager, but I’ve done a little bit lately, so hopefully I’ll get some time as I’ve missed playing.”
