Lathaniel out to claim Town’s left-back berth

CLAIMING the left-back berth is Lathaniel Rowe-Turner’s top priority after sealing a two-year deal at the Hatters on Monday, writes Mark Wood.

The 22-year-old ex-Gull admitted linking up with former Torquay United boss Paul Buckle played a major part in his decision.

Rowe-Turner is determined to nail down the full-back position that was denied him at Plainmoor by Kevin Nicholson.

He faces tough competition though from the likes of Greg Taylor and Jake Howells but is convinced he can win the race for the shirt.
