Denied the services of star striker Stuart Fleetwood through illness he was rewarded with an all-action, powerful display from Amari Morgan-Smith as his side battled back from a goal down to get back to winning ways.

He said: “Obviously Stuart’s a big player for us. When we got the phonecall this morning I though our luck has to change point...

“I thought we particularly needed to get back to winning and particularly needed a performance.

“After two minutes I thought... I thought it was a really good performance, a really brave performance and delighted with it and the result.”
