Kovacs wants to remain a Hatter

DEFENDER Janos Kovacs has given his clearest indication that he wants to become a Luton Town player on a permanent basis once more, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 26-year-old made the final appearance of his one-month loan spell during the 1-0 victory at Grimsby Town on Friday night and when asked whether he would like to remain at Kenilworth Road, the Hungarian said: “It’s a good question, still a question in my head as well.

“I want to stay, I love this football club, but in football it’s not that easy and we will see. All I can say at the moment, I want to stay, I think that is important for the club and for me and for the future.”
