Keane wants nothing to do with play-offs

A QUALITY performance against Italian giants Parma in pre-season has shown just how good the Hatters can be according to tenacious midfielder Keith Keane, writes Mark Wood.

Town may have lost that encounter 2-0 to the Serie A side, but Keane believes if the Hatters can take that work ethic into the Conference, then their quality will undoubtedly shine through.

He said: “If you do well against those teams and work hard it can only boost confidence.

“If you can hold your own and give Parma a good game, then you’ve just got to make sure you work hard against teams like Forest Green and Telford because we know we have the ability to beat them.”
