Keane hoping to earn a new deal with Luton

LEAVING Luton has never crossed midfielder Keith Keane’s mind – although he admitted the club have to want him to stay, writes Mark Wood.

The talismanic 25-year-old is out of contract in the summer and he has no desire to depart despite attracting a host of suitors in recent years.

He said: “I’ll be really honest with you, I don’t really have a clue what’s happening as all I know at the minute is my contract is up in the summer.

“All I’m doing is playing because I want to get promotion and then it’s up to Luton Town if they want to offer me one and hopefully they do.

“I’ll find out at the end of the season I suppose.”
