Keane eyes goalscoring record!

MIDFIELD dynamo Keith Keane is hoping for a record-breaking season in front of goal after netting his second of the campaign in the 4-2 victory over Hayes & Yeading at Kenilworth Road on Monday, writes Mark Wood.

The versatile 25-year-old has over 250 appearances to his name during nine seasons with the club, but revealed he has never scored more than two in one season.

He said: “I’ve never scored more than two in a season, so you never know. It was right place, right time.

“It’s always nice to get a goal, but the main thing is that we won.”
