Kasim aims to thrive in Hatters’ pressure cooker

THE intensity of the Kenilworth Road pressure cooker was what convinced Iraq U23 international Yaser Kasim to join the Hatters on a six-month loan deal from Championship Brighton, writes Mark Wood.

Kasim is hoping to thrive in the high-pressured environment admitting losing at Luton is simply not an option.

The 21-year-old midfielder can’t wait to forge his mettle at the Hatters, saying: “I needed to get some games and gain experience in a pressure environment.

“There’s real pressure to win here and I see it already in training.”
