It’s a squad game for Hatters this season

Town will need their whole squad to cope with the busy spells this season according to skipper Ronnie Henry, writes Mark Wood.

Luton are in the midst of three games in six days and the captain said: “The Conference is a lot of games, Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday.

“It’s a good thing as all the lads know there are equal opportunities.

“You never know what might happen Saturday, one of the lads has got to be ready and I know all the lads are professional here and keeping themselves right.

“We are a squad and it’s not just the 11 that go out, it’s the whole squad and the management that win the game.

“So everyone will be needed and it will be very important that they are ready when called upon.”

Henry believes all the newcomes have settled in well too, adding: “There’s a few new signings, but a lot of the signings are from League clubs so it just shows what the club’s intents are.

“We’ve settled in very well, we had a good trip to Portugal so we were with each other for a good six days non-stop.

“The lads are great, we’ve all bonded very well and are getting on with our work.”
