Injuries easing for Town boss

THERE is light at the end of the tunnel for the Hatters as their injury list continues to diminish, writes Mark Wood.

That is the view of Town boss Gary Brabin, who saw full-back Dan Gleeson return to action in a reserve game last week.

Brabin said: “He’s a fantastic full-back and was part of our back four that never gave away any goals last season.

“It’s fantastic to have him back. We’ve had Pilks (George Pilkington) back the last five games and to have Glees back would be good as well.

“We’ve got Curtis (Osano) as well who has also put a bit more competition in there and the future is looking healthy.

“Ed Asafu-Adjaye’s had his boot off. He has had a cast boot on his foot and had no weight-bearing.

“He’s had it off the last few days and is looking forward to starting some light jogging.

“Once we get all our big players out I’m more than confident we will be more consistent than we have been.”
