In front of an impressive crowd of 755, Spurs led 3-0 at the break, despite Town keeper Craig King’s best efforts as Shayon Harrison gave the visitors the lead inside 10 minutes.

Joe Pritchard doubled the advantage with an unstoppable shot a minute before the break and Joshua Onomah fired home a penalty in first half stoppage time.

Daril Ngwala rattled the woodwork before pulling a goal back early in the second half following a forceful run from Luke Trotman’s great pass.

Kyle Walker-Peters (67) made it 4-1, before Ngwala was felled by Christian Maghoma and he dusted himself down to score the penalty.

Ngwala was denied his hat-trick by a block, while Luton captain Zak Jules failed to connect properly from a glorious late opportunity.
