Hatters captain Ronnie Henry admitted it was an emotional moment to lift the Skrill Premier title at Kenilworth Road on Monday.

At the fifth attempt, Luton finally got their hands on the trophy in front of a jubilant Kenilworth Road crowd of 10,044, a Conference record.

Henry, who skippered the Stevenage side to their title win in 2010, said: “It was amazing moment especially for my family and kids to be here as well.

“It was very emotional because it’s been a long time coming for these Luton fans and everyone involved with this fantastic club and it’s well deserved.”
