Henry fit and raring to go once more

Luton leader Ronnie Henry is fit and raring to go after a double hernia operation has put a new-found spring in his step, writes Mark Wood.

The 29-year-old right-back said: “I had a double hernia and other bits and bobs done inside.

“I needed it done, it was in a bad way when they went in and I feel better for it.

“It took me about three months to really get over it. I was struggling a lot last season with it and it really did hold me back quite a bit.

“Now I’ve had it done, I’ve started pre-season and touch wood I haven’t missed a day yet, so I’m feeling strong.”

Town now have such an abundance of experience that they could name a whole back four of Conference winners, which is a great bonus in Henry’s eyes as he eyes a return to the Football League this season.
