Henry delighted to make long-awaited Town debut

DELIGHTED Charlie Henry was ecstatic to put the hardest part of his career to bed on Saturday as he made his long-awaited Hatters debut after almost a year on the sidelines, writes Mark Wood.

The 25-year-old winger enjoyed a 20 minute cameo as Town thumped Hendon to move into the first round proper of the FA Cup.

Henry, who signed for the Hatters last November from Newport County, said: “It’s near enough been a year. It’s last November when I last played a game on a football pitch.”
