Henry confirmed as Luton’s new captain

SUMMER capture Ronnie Henry has been confirmed as Luton Town’s new captain by manager Paul Buckle.

The former Stevenage skipper dropped down from League one to join Conference Luton in the summer and has been rewarded with the captain’s armband.

On the 28-year-old, Buckle said: “It has been evident in all of our pre-season games where Ronnie has featured that he is a leader.

“He is a determined, vocal character and someone who really inspires those around him.

“We’re lucky to have him here, I’m delighted that he is and to be able to have a player like him as a captain is a huge bonus.

“His organisation skills are helping others around him and the fact he’s won two promotions in two of the last three seasons speaks volumes.”
