Hayrettin to provide vital link for Town boss Still

New Hatters first team coach Hakan Hayrettin will provide a vital link for boss John Still, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 43-year-old has played for the likes of Barnet, Torquay United, Wycombe Wanderers, Cambridge United, Doncaster Rovers and Peterborough United.

Last season, Hayrettin led Grays to the Ryman Division One North title as they accumulated a club record 102 points from 42 matches.

Hayrettin also played under boss Still and the Town chief said: “Hakan can be the link between our scouting system and me.

“I do like to have that person who can take that little bit of weight off.

“That’s an ideal thing for us, and he’ll be involved on the training ground too.”
