The 19-year-old was on loan at Skrill South side Boreham Wood earlier in the season and has now joined the Calor Southern League Division One Central high-flyers Dunstable temporarily.

A Hatters statement read: “Jerome Jibodu is set to join Southern League outfit Dunstable Town on a one months loan deal from 20th February to the 20th March.

“Jerome joins a number of Hatters players that are out on loan and as with them all we wish him luck in his time with Dunstable Town.”

Jibodu joins fellow ex-Hatter Newman Carney, who signed on loan from Braintree Town this week, along with the permanent signatures of centre-half Kyle Anthony from Egham Town and keeper Alex Taylor from county rivals Biggleswade Town.

Blues director of football John McLoughlin was delighted to get his man, adding: “Jibodu is a class act and I would like to thank Luton Town FC for helping us out.

“We need players of Jerome’s quality to give us the push forward for the business end of the season and help us on our promotion push and I feel that with the new signings brought in this week than we should be strong until the end of the season. We welcome Jerome to the club.”
