Town played on bigger pitches on the Sunday as they drew the first 0-0 against Dutch side Reiger Boys.

Luton then triumphed 2-0 in a must-win game to reach the final thanks to goals from Lambert and Marshall as keeper Taylor Haddow kept their fourth clean sheet.

Town’s watching U13s provided a guard of honour for the final as the Hatters rode their luck in the first half.

The defence of Joshua Straker and Adam Wedd were forced to work hard, while Haddow pulled off a string of fine saves as the half finished goalless.
