Hatters U18s fall to Daggers defeat

Luton Town’s U18s suffered a 3-2 defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge at Ely Way on Saturday in their first home Youth Alliance league game of the season.

Daggers were ahead on 26 minutes, before Town levelled just before half time as Isaac Galliford was brought down in the box and Jerome Jibodu converted from the spot.

The visitors moved 3-1 in front after the break, and although Luton pulled a goal back with 10 minutes to go through Charlie Smith’s free kick, they were unable to force an equaliser.
