Hatters table hat-trick of bids in striker search

LUTON Town are currently in negotiations over bringing three players to Kenilworth Road, writes Mark Wood.

Town have already had one bid knocked back by Oxford United for target man James Constable, while they have also been linked with Forest Green striker Reece Styche this week.

While declining to name names, managing director Gary Sweet confirmed Luton are in the process of trying to reinforce their squad.

Speaking on Monday, he said: “Currently there are three live negotiations. They are daily live. That doesn’t mean to say we are after three players. We are not.

“Certainly at this stage each of those involve transfer fees, negotiations with an agent and player.”
