Hatters striker Gray hails birthday boys Benson
Birthday boy Paul Benson drew praise from strike partner Andre Gray as he turned 34 on Saturday as Town beat Hyde 4-1 at Kenilworth Road, writes Mark Wood.
Gray said: “He’s very, very fit. I was very surprised he was 34 today to be honest because I didn’t think anybody could run that much at that age.
“But he’s a fit man and a great professional.
“I strive off playing off someone like Benno or Shawy, or last year with Rens.

“Benno scores goals as well. Obviously it wasn’t his day today but it will be his soon.”
