Hatters sign Norwich City youngster on loan

Luton Town have completed the signing of Norwich City’s highly-rated midfielder Cameron McGeehan on loan for a month.

The 18-year-old captained the Canaries to FA Youth Cup glory last season, scoring penalties in both legs of the final against Chelsea.

McGeehan has been a regular for City’s U21s this season and was previously been on the books of Chelsea and Fulham.

He is eligible to play for Town in their Skrill Premier clash against Wrexham this weekend as boss John Still told the club’s official website: “Cameron is all-action, he’s strong, he can play, he can tackle and he gets around the pitch really well.

“He worked with Jeff Wood (goalkeeping coach) at Norwich, and Jeff’s seen first-hand what a prospect this boy is.

“It’s another player we’ve had our eye on – another target that we have identified and brought in.

“That’s pleasing and having Cameron on board gives us another option in midfield.”
