It was the 31-year-old’s second goal in two games following his header in the 2-0 win over Southport last Tuesday, and he said: “It’s been a strength of mine in a good way, but in a bad way because I’ve always been moved around within the midfield slots. I can play as an attacking midfielder, sitting midfielder, wide man coming in or even off the striker. It’s just fortunate and I’ll try and chip in as many goals as I can.

“I should have got a lot more goals within my career but my stats will probably show I’m more than happy to score a goal.”
