Hatters rated versus Lincoln City

Mark Tyler: 8 – Made an important save and gave the Hatters’ back four real confidence by coming for his crosses.

Dean Beckwith 4 – Looked out of sorts early on and let his team-mates down with a moment of madness so early on.

Alex Lawless: 8 – Early booking limited his tackling ability but put in an energetic and classy shift nonetheless.

Amari Morgan-Smith: 7 – Powerful running and plenty of endeavour but struggled to make his mark on the game.

Danny Crow: 7 – Linked play well, but isn’t a midfielder and was sacrificed after the break after dropping backwards.

Robbie Willmott: 6.5 – Plenty of pace but doesn’t seem on his game just at the moment.

Stuart Fleetwood: 8 – Constant threat, netted the all-important winner, but should have had more.

Jake Howells 7.5 – Assured display from the young full-back who was limited in his forays forward by the sending off.

Will Antwi: 9 – Commanding performance from the dominating centre-half when the Hatters needed it most.

James Dance: 8 – Makeshift full-back adapted to the challenge and stuck to his task well.

Jamie Hand: 8 – May never have played at the back before but he took to it like a duck to water.

Adam Watkins (sub): 7 – Industrious midfielder played an important role with his busy style.

Aaron O’Connor (sub): 6 – Full of effort but first touch is proving a real problem.

John Paul Kissock (sub): 7 – Tidy play all afternoon and moment of magic made the winner.
