Hatters rated v York City

Mark Tyler: 8.5 – A string of fine saves, vocal in his organising and dominated his box.

Greg Taylor: 7 – Looked exhausted at the end as he switch from left-back to central midfield and gave everything to the cause.

Keith Keane: 6 – Hungry for the ball, but his impetuosity left his team-mates with a mammoth challenge.

George Pilkington: 7 – Given a torrid time early on and made several mistakes, but rose to the challenge and put his body on the line on several occasions late on.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 – Tireless runner but not as influential as he may have liked against his old side.

Danny Crow: 6.5 – Thankless task leading the line by himself but stuck to his task and showed great application.

Jake Howells: 5 – Didn’t even seem to move his arm for the penalty and it was cruel on the youngster coming so early in the contest.

Ed Asafu-Adjaye: 7 – The fewer of his team-mates that were left the greater the right-back’s contribution became.

Charlie Henry: 6.5 – Battered from pillar to post, but showed some nice touches, although had to be removed after arguing his way into the book.

Adam Watkins: 7 – Kept running all afternoon and was at the heart of Luton’s one bit of quality on the day.

Janos Kovacs: 7.5 – Won loads in the air and defended resolutely, but probably should have found the net with Town’s best chance.
