Hatters rated v York City

Mark Tyler: 7 – No chance with the goal, but not otherwise unduly tested as he didn’t put a foot wrong.

Greg Taylor: 7 – One of the finds of the season and gives Town a great stable base to build from on the left.

Keith Keane: 8 – Talismanic midfielder was back to his best with an industrious and tasty tackling display.

George Pilkington: 7 – Caught by a terrible challenge late on, but neither he nor the defence deserved the late heartbreak.

Alex Lawless: 7 – Saw plenty of the ball and broke up the play well against his old club, although he must be getting to hate the sight of them.

Danny Crow: 6.5 – Superb play to set up Willmott’s goal but struggled against City’s hulking centre-halves.

Robbie Willmott: 7.5 – Pacy and sharp, continually ran at his man and put the Minstermen under pressure. Took his goal well too.

Stuart Fleetwood: 6.5 – Quick and hungry for a goal, went very close early on but his finishing was too wild at times.

Jake Howells: 7 – Form has dipped of late, but this was more like it with a lively, energetic and creative showing.

Curtis Osano: 6.5 – Robust and solid performance, but looked a little rusty at times and could have been more alert.

Janos Kovacs: 7.5 – Man mountain at the back but late cross was too good for all off Town’s defenders.

Adam Watkins (sub): 7 – Injected pace and purpose but probably should have been more decisive or selfish when it opened up for him.
