Hatters rated v Wrexham

Mark Tyler: 6 – Bar the two goals, had very little to do.

Greg Taylor: 6 – Not as much of a threat going forward as in recent weeks.

Keith Keane: 5 – Overrun at times in midfield as Luton never got a grip.

George Pilkington: 6 – Won his headers but that was about all Hatters won.

Alex Lawless: 5 – Didn’t feature anywhere near as much as he has done in previous games.

Danny Crow: 5 – Not suited to the lone striker role especially against the towering Wrexham centre-halves.

Aaron O’Connor: 5 – Largely on the periphery as Town were desperately poor in the first half.

Jake Howells: 6 – One of the few bright sparks for Hatters on an awful night.

Ed Asafu-Adjaye: 5 – Struggled for large periods and far too many aimless long balls.

Andre Boucaud: 5 – Terrible error for the second goal and was withdrawn at half time.

Janos Kovacs: 6 – Battled well on a night when Luton were second best.

Craig McAllister (sub): 5 – Lack of football shone through, but did add a much-needed aerial threat up front.

Robbie Willmott (sub): 7 – Prepared to run at his opponents and finally gave Luton the attacking outlet they had craved.

John Paul Kissock (sub): 5 – Plenty of tricks as per usual, before late red card for a wild challenge topped off the evening.
