Hatters rated v Welling

Mark Tyler: 6.5 - Relatively untroubled afternoon. Couldn’t do a thing about Lafayette’s late strike.

Ronnie Henry: 6.5 - Proud moment to lead Town through guard of honour. Replaced to give Parry a chance.

Scott Griffiths: 6.5 - Had his hands full early on but the threat died down as the game progressed.

Steve McNulty: 7 - Dominant in the air once more and another who came off early to allow others their opportunity.

Fraser Franks: 7 - Back at his old club and cut out the errors which had blighted his last few games.

Cameron McGeehan: 7 - Looking more and more composed in possession. Plenty of legs too.

Matt Robinson: 7.5 - Really came into the came second half as he broke up attacks and got Town going.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 7 - Such a threat when he bursts forward . Almost got Gray away on a number of occasions.

Mark Cullen: 7.5 - Looked very busy and eager to make up for lost time. Cool finish and was denied another by a marvellous save.

Alex Wall: 7 - Deserved start and such a threat to opposing defenders. Quick to grab the ball at set-pieces too.

Andre Gray: 7 - Goal number 28 showed great power and a calm head. Linked well with Cullen all afternoon.

Alex Lacey (SUB): 7 - Great to see the youngsters back and he made a number of valuable interventions.

Andy Parry (SUB): 7 - Slotted in comfortably at right back and produced some fine passes up the line.

Jon Shaw (SUB): 7 - Imposed himself aerially in his short cameo.
