Hatters rated v Tamworth

Kevin Pilkington: 6.5 – Restored to the starting line-up and apart from one or two slippery moments with his distribution, was a commanding presence.

Dan Gleeson: 7 – Getting back into the swing of things now and ridiculously booed after his involvement in the red card.

Greg Taylor: 7 – Showed the sort of reasons why Brabin signed him. Solid at the back and quick to break forward too.

Keith Keane: 7 – A far more advanced position than recent times and relished the task, winning a late penalty.

George Pilkington: 6.5 – Quietly efficient. Mopped up danger with the minimum of fuss and unlucky with the late deflection.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 – Definitely improved as the game wore on. Started to make things tick from the base of midfield.

Danny Crow: 7.5 – Led the line well and confidence is clearly on the rise with his first-time finish.

Jake Howells: 7 – Swapped flanks with ease and lovely throughball for Dance’s goal.

James Dance: 7 – Full of endeavour, always looking to run at defenders and excellent left-footed finish too.

Adam Watkins: 6.5 (pictured) – Didn’t have his most dominant game, but good too see him getting his overdue chance.

Janos Kovacs: 7 – A rock at the back once more. Wins almost everything in the air.
