Hatters rated v Nuneaton

Mark Tyler: 6.5 – Alert at all times and made one good save, but could command his box a little more.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 5 – Looked a little rusty as his touch let him down, but stuck with it.

Alex Lawless: 8 – Stellar showing from Mr Consistent, energetic and wholehearted, his wonder strike and cool finish were decisive.

Jon Shaw: 5 – Had a couple of shots blocked but is having to drop too deep and too wide to get the ball.

Scott Rendell: 5 – Floated around the periphery and was never able to make a telling contribution.

Jake Howells: 6.5 – Too quiet first half, but far more integral in the second as he and Lawless turned the tide.

Simon Ainge: 6 – Powerful rough-edged defender was there whenever needed.

JJ O’Donnell: 5 – Lost the physical battle in the middle and was unable to impose himself on proceedings.

Connor Essam: 5 – Solid performance but his withdrawal gave the Hatters more of an attacking outlook.

Ronnie Henry: 5 – Sent in a couple of telling balls and used his strength well, but looked a little immobile at times.

Andre Gray: 6 – Continually turned his man and showed plenty of pace but his final ball was lacking.
