Hatters rated v Nuneaton

Dean Brill: 6.5 – No chance with the goal, did the basics well and pulled off a couple of notable stops.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 6 – Rarely troubled but sacrificed in the second half as Town looked for more of a goal threat.

Janos Kovacs: 6.5 – Steady showing from the giant Hungarian who has re-established himself at the heart of Hatters’ defence.

Dan Walker: 6.5 – Late replacement caused Boro problems with his direct approach, but was caught in possession too often.

Scott Rendell: 6.5 – Poacher’s instinct to net Town equaliser and provided Town’s physical threat up front.

Jake Howells: 7 – Town’s most consistent performer on the day, neat and tidy passing coupled with some thrusting runs.

Stuart Fleetwood: 5 – On the periphery and a brace of dubious offside decision seemed to take the wind out of his sails.

Arnaud Mendy: 6 - Rangy midfield sat deep and picked up the bits without giving Town the impetus they needed.

JJ O’Donnell: 5.5 – One incisive run could have led to a penalty but largely overwhelmed in the midfield.

Ronnie Henry: 6 – Pushed forward well from full-back, defended assuredly and had one decent pop at goal.

Andre Gray: 5 – Disappointing afternoon from the quiet frontman who was barely able to break Nuneaton’s shackles.
