Amari Morgan-Smith: 8 – Strong and powerful and took his goal well, has been sorely missed.

Robbie Willmott: 6 – Missed one great chance and should have been far more influential on the night.

Stuart Fleetwood: 7 – Goal gave him a real boost and got better as the game went on.

Ed Asafu-Adjaye: 6.5 – Several telling last-ditch tackles, but also caught out more than once.

Curtis Osano: 6.5 – A solid showing from the full-back who reined in his overlapping instinct.

John Paul Kissock: 7 – Fired-up midfielder battled away in the centre, but struggled to open up the Knitters.

Alex Lacey: 6.5 – Growing into the men’s game and showed real physicality, but was caught out positionally at times.

JJ O’Donnell: 6.5 – Assured display from the youngster who is beefing up well.

Colby McAdams: 6 – Involved throughout and played intelligently, but could have been more involved.

Jerry Nash: 5 – Did nothing wrong, but was something of a peripheral figure on the night.

Jake Woolley (sub): 5.5 – Youngster was full of running but could have done better with a couple of chances.

Charlie Smith (sub): 5.5 – One great feint and shot showed a glimmer of what might be to come.
