Hatters rated v Hayes & Yeading

Mark Tyler: 7.5 – No real chance with either goal and pulled off a couple of great saves in either half.

Keith Keane: 7 – Helped the Hatters win the midfield battle and notched a rare goal to put them in charge.

George Pilkington: 6.5 – Given a torrid time by United’s strikers but stuck to his task, although he will be disappointed his side conceded another two more goals from set-pieces.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 – Got his foot in and displayed some intelligent passing, but could really do with taking games like this by the scruff of the neck.

Robbie Willmott: 6.5 – Thrusting runs and the odd fierce effort, but there’s still so much more to come.

Stuart Fleetwood (pictured): 8.5 – Rejuvenated striker was in scintillating form and capped it off with two great strikes.

Jake Howells: 7 – Started slowly under the high ball but improved and linked well with Willmott.
