Hatters rated v Fleetwood

Mark Tyler: 7 – Not unduly tested but alert to any threat.

Keith Keane: 8 – Dominated the midfield as he made plenty of tackles and executed some crucial interceptions.

George Pilkington: 7.5 – Skipper was really on his game as he made some vital blocks and key tackles.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 – Saw plenty of the ball and used it constructively, but was the first to be withdrawn for fresh legs.

Craig McAllister: 7 – His cross created the opener, won plenty in the air and played a pivotal role for the Hatters.

Jake Howells: 7 – His most assured showing at full-back for some time and was a real whippet up the left flank.

Curtis Osano: 8 – Kenyan is growing in stature every week and this was his most impressive performance in every department.

John Paul Kissock: 6.5 – Sprightly midfielder helped the Hatters to hold on to the ball well, spilt blood for the cause, although the odd unnecessary trick put Town in trouble.

Andre Gray: 7 (pictured) – Lacked energy early on but gradually came into the game and scored Luton’s second to finally kill off any nerves.

Adam Watkins: 6.5 – Linked play beautifully in Town’s ball-playing midfield, but needed a little more end product.

Janos Kovacs: 7 – Commanded the aerial battles at the back and bar the odd slip was rock solid.

Greg Taylor (sub): 6 – Rangy left-back helped to settle Town down and combat Fleewood’s overlapping full-backs.

Robbie Willmott (sub): 6.5 – Created the second goal and was a real threat.

Stuart Fleetwood (sub): 5.5 – Made a real nuisance of himself.
