Hatters rated v FGR

Dean Brill: 5 – Largely untroubled but his one error almost cost Luton dear.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 6 – Touch let him down at times but the left-back stuck to his task well and enabled Howells to play further forward.

Janos Kovacs: 6.5 – Hulking Hungarian put in some big headers in the first half and stood his ground well throughout.

Jon Shaw: 6 – Again starved of service but won his fair share of flick-ons and worked hard for the side.

Scott Rendell: 7 – Intelligent forward contributed throughout and kept his cool to stroke home the winning penalty.

Jake Howells: 6.5 – Early booking left him walking a tightrope but still go his foot in whenever possible, without being at his flying best.

Simon Ainge: 7.5 – Rugged and competitive display from the no nonsense centre-half who has helped to shore up Town’s defence.

Stuart Fleetwood: 6.5 – Largely quiet but changed the course of the game with his incredible equaliser.

Arnaud Mendy: 6.5 (pictured) – Picked up all the bits in the middle and kept things ticking too with a fine array of passing.

Ronnie Henry: 6.5 – Battling and dogged display for the skipper who is coming into his own in the harsher conditions.

Andre Gray: 7 – Lightning pace is always a major weapon and his persistence led to Town’s winner.

JJ O’Donnell (sub): 5 – Brought on to wind the clock down
