Hatters rated v Alfreton

Ronnie Henry: 7.5 – Covers round so well at right back and always available as Town looked to break down their battling opponents.

Scott Griffiths: 8.5 – Full back is quickly becoming one of the most important cogs in Town’s team.

Fraser Franks: 8 – Another composed display from the centre half, who now heads off to Jordan with England C.

Steve McNulty: 8 – Defender once again was solid and hisdetermination for another clean sheet was there for all to see.

Cameron McGeehan: 7 – Midfielder had probably his quietest game so far, but never shirked a challenge in his hour on the pitch.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 7.5 – Like McGeehan, he was not at his most effective, but strong running, especially late on, is such a plus for Town.

Jake Howells: 8.5 – Revitalised in recent weeks and was always full of craft on the left flank as Town strove for the breakthrough.

Luke Guttridge: 8 – Finally escaped Poku’s attentions to net the all-important opener. Hopefully injury is not serious.

Paul Benson: 8 – Links up play so well for Town and took advantage of a defensive slip to score again.

Andre Gray: 8 – Didn’t have the amount of freedom has had recently, but in the right place to tap home goal number 25.

Matt Robinson (sub): 7.5 – Really impressed with a dominant performance in midfield late on.

Alex Lawless (sub): 7 – Such an option to have on the bench, was so close to netting too.

Jon Shaw (sub): 6 – Late run out for the striker.
