Fraser Franks: 8 - Debutant defender won plenty in the air and put in numerous important blocks at the back.

Steve McNulty: 6.5 - Movement of the Silkmen’s strikers seemed to cause him some problems, but the popular defender was on hand with several key blocks.

Jake Howells: 7 - Enjoyed plenty of success down the left in the first half as he gave Luton some real width at the Moss Rose.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Full-back stuck to his task well against the extremely lively Mackreth and wasn’t afraid to put his foot through the ball.

Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Saw a great header turned away by an acrobatic save and put in a real shift without dominating the midfield.

Luke Guttridge: 6.5 - Industrious midfielder was key to some lovely Luton passing in the first half and will surely grow more influential again as the pitches improve.

Ronnie Henry: 6.5 - Hatters skipper was Mr Reliable as ever with little created on his flank for Macclesfield.

Paul Benson: 7 - Leads the line so well, cleverly brings his team-mates into the game and full of running too despite his years.

Andre Gray: 7.5 - Not at his tormenting best, but his goals are powering Town to the title.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 7 - Powerful and athletic on his full debut after joining permanently, but touch sometimes let him down and missed a gilt-edged opportunity.

Alex Lawless (sub): 5 - Not on long enough to have a big influence but bolstered the midfield in the dying moments.
