Hatters Rated: Luton Town v Dartford

Mark Tyler: 7 - Marshalled his defence well and came for crosses when needed. Quick distribution helped set up a number of attacks too.

Ronnie Henry: 7.5 - Skipper made his 50th appearance for Town and produced a number of decent crosses, especially for Benson in the second half.

Scott Griffiths: 7.5 - Produced a solid display after coming in for criticism from Town boss John Still after Wrexham. Forming a good partnership with Howells on the left flank.

Steve McNulty: 7.5 - Almost caught out once in the first half, and won’t have been pleased to see Dartford gifted a few very presentable chances. On the whole was as dominant as ever though.

Andy Parry: 7.5 - Looks to have really settled into Town’s team now with another unerring aerial showing at the back.

Jonathan Smith: 7 - Full of heart once more and quick to put himself about. Touch let him down at times, but his surge forward and incisive pass led to Town putting the game to bed.

Jim Stevenson: 7.5 - Full debut for the summer signing and he grew in confidence as the game wore on. Tackled well, kept it simple when in possession and definitely has an eye for goal with some efforts from distance.

Luke Guttridge: 8 - Moved further forward after the Wrexham defeat and showed just how important he will be this year. Linked play superbly and grabbed his third of the season, albeit with a deflection.

Alex Lawless: 8.5 - Great to see Lawless back and he proved exactly what Town had been missing this season so far. Clever on the ball, rarely gave it away, set up Benson’s opener and deservedly notched too.

Jake Howells: 8 - Had plenty of the ball in the first half as he was a constant menace and is becoming an important player for Town again. Could do with brushing up on his set-piece delivery though.

Paul Benson: 8 - Led the line excellently and his ability to bring others into play is vital. Off the mark in a Hatters shirt now and expect plenty more once full fitness is reached.
